I fail at updating LJ and have pretty much been spending every waking moment of my life on Tumblr, so add me if you have one. Or DON'T add me because I update mine quite a bit and my posts may not be relevant to your interests so I don't want you to feel obligated. The Proclaimers - I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) on repeat forever and ever.

Yesterday while I was making my old entries private (I don't want them to be used against me for blackmail purposes. I do have star potential.) I stumbled upon a list of 60 things I want to do before I die. I had been forced to make the list and explain my choices for a career studies class. At 15, I didn't think much of it. It was just a stupid school project. Most of the "goals" I listed were not really my goals, but rather random bullshit I conjured up the night before the assignment was due. I like to think I have more significant lifelong desires than "See Scream!" and "Watch an entire hockey game lulz!"

So I'm gonna give this assignment another shot. 60 50 Things I Want to To Do Before I Die 2.0: The Less Stupid Version. I have a lot of free time nowadays. If I'm feeling inspired, I'll make it 100. Obviously this is a personal project but I'll leave this entry public in case anyone wants to stare at the pretty pictures.

My name is Ariel and I'm 19 going on 20 which means the Sound of Music song doesn't apply to me anymore. I'm a third year Biology major. I live in a little known country called Canada.

I enjoy TV especially 30 Rock, The Office, Firefly, Mad Men and Pushing Daisies. Right now I'm also getting into musicals and classic movies. However, I do have a life outside those little fandoms - or at least I pretend to. That's why I'm more likely to write about my experiences that one time at band camp than fangirl over Jim and Pam's latest scripted kiss. I've written entries pertaining to mould and red squiggly lines under misspelled words before. Seriously. In other words, I'm slightly boring.

I don't comment a whole lot, sorry to say. I'm attempting to remedy that but to be honest, I simply don't feel the need to voice my opinion all the time especially when 3299 other people have said the same thing. That's all it is. I always read though. If you're on my friends list, I read your entries. That's a promise. Sometimes I'll go on commenting sprees and just spam your entries until the internet explodes. I'm very erratic like that. That's why I don't expect you to comment either and I may even disable commenting from time to time.

Things come up and sometimes I may go weeks without posting. Please don't add me if doing daily friends cuts happens to get you off. I never cut anyone either unless they haven't updated since the Middle Ages.
